Help People in Need by Purchasing Global Gifts

You can provide a Christmas present to forgotten people by using International Ministries’ Global Gifts program. You can choose from five different areas of ministry to meet critical and immediate needs. For instance, a gift of $10 can buy a Bible and hymn book for a family in the Caribbean. A gift of $100 can help start a tree nursery in South America. A gift of $500 can provide a well that will supply pure water for a whole village in Africa.

Many of your family members and friends may want to join you in considering Global Gifts.  Their interests might suggest some choices of ministry areas. For instance, pet-loving children may want to give such gifts as a cow or goat that may go to a family in Europe; your relative who is a teacher may choose to provide tuition or school supplies that could help children in Asia; your cycling-enthusiast friend may be interested in providing enough money to purchase a bicycle for a remote pastor who needs transportation to visit church members.

Parents, siblings, other relatives, friends and colleagues -- all of these may be on a typical Christmas present list. But this year another dimension can be added to the celebration of Christ’s birth.  It is based on 2 Corinthians 5:19, “God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself….”

Remember, a list showing some of the world’s needs is provided through Global Gifts. May this Christmas season be a particularly blessed one for you and yours because each of you has chosen to support International Ministries, uniquely celebrating the meaning of God’s love for the whole world!
