They write: It has been amazing to see how God is answering our prayers! God is moving to bring healing in mind, body and soul to those here in Southern Africa who so desperately need it.

We asked for prayers for the animator Adrian as we went through the challenging process of making a 10 minute pre-test video. There is probably no more difficult topic in health education today than the area of HIV prevention and motivation for testing. We and five other professionals in the fields of video production and AIDS education spent a great deal of time on the script—with three more AIDS educators also participating in the editing process. Most of the people volunteered their time. The animator Adrian produced the first 2.5 minutes of the video for us to take to the conference in Nairobi, Kenya.

The video was well received. We learned so much at the conference and further refined our ideas based on things that we learned.

Prayer Requests/Praises:

• Pray for us on April 12 –14 when we will hold our first workshop for the purpose of training health builder trainers. So far, two South African nurses, one high school teacher, a Dutch missionary couple and an American missionary couple are planning on participating.
• Pray for Marlene and for us as we submit multiple grant proposals for more videos and training of health builders.
• Pray for the 16 American Baptist Women who will visit us in South Africa from April 22—29.
•  Please pray for us as we finish the training of new health builders in Zululand. We are using our experiences to further develop a model of implementation of a health builder program.
•  Pray for Shaka’s Kraal Baptist and the Swaziland Baptist Bible College, who have expressed interest in Health Builder training

• Grant funding for continued development of more health education and training videos.
• We are preparing a manual for training health builders—please pray for us as we continue this time consuming task.
