Tim and Patti minister in leadership training by the Baja Baptist Convention, Dios Con Nosotros (God With Us). They help in the acculturation process of the many people who relocate to the Baja Peninsula of Mexico from other areas in Mexico.

They write: It's the last week of classes here in the northwest corner of Mexico.  For both us, whether it is Tim's ministry in equipping of church leaders through the Mexicali Baptist Seminary, or Patti's ministry with special needs children and their families through the grade school at Monte Horeb Church in Tijuana, this week marks perhaps the most important week of the year.  On Friday, July 1, both the Seminary and the Grade School will celebrate another successful year with special worship and graduation ceremonies. 

The summer months of July and August will also keep us busy with four weeks of summer school in Tijuana and weekly pastoral continuing education in Mexicali.  Then, come September we begin our year of US Assignment -- a special year that we missionaries spend every four or five years visiting supporting churches in the United States.  Our home base will continue to be from Chula Vista, California, just south of San Diego but our ministry location will be to points north rather than points south.

At this point Tim has four ten day trips planned for September through December.  In September he will be in Indiana/Ohio, October in Michigan, November in New York and Pennsylvania and in December he will be visiting churches in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.  During the course of the twelve months of U.S. Assignment, we hope to visit most of the churches that support our Mexican ministry as well as any others that are interested in partnering with us.
