About this Mission Project

The Haitian Baptist Convention has more than 115 churches organized in 10 districts or areas. The women’s ministry is present in all 10 districts in Haiti.

Each year Kihomi Ngwemi, American Baptist International Ministries missionary, visits each area where gatherings are held and churches in the respective communities.

She plans and organizes at least one leadership training session, one national conference, and one general assembly.
  

Mission Project Specifics

This project seeks to raise $9,200 to cover the cost of visiting the women in the 10 districts of Haiti in order to hold leadership training rallies. Also, there is one centralized leadership training session, one conference and one general assembly. It is anticipated that these events will improve the overall well-being of the women in the communities who have multiple responsibilities in terms of their families as well as their church families.
