Praise God:

Gaet and Lyn have joined us this month bringing our number to 10 women working at NightLight. God is really blessing us with these precious women.

We had a wonderful Christmas party yesterday with our women. They prepared all the food and had a gift exchange. Pon shared the Christmas message with them and several were crying as they were moved by the love God has for them. They have expressed amazement that we accept them and that Jesus would love women whom society has rejected.

At a joint Christmas party with "The Well," three women accepted Christ and although they are not sure what it means and are still hanging on to Buddhist roots, we are seeing their hearts open up.

We participated in the Bless Thailand prayer walk and concert. It was wonderful to join several hundred Thai Christians in prayer as we walked through part of the red light district.

We have been able to converse with the Russian-speaking women who are trafficked to the area. We are excited and grateful for this breakthrough.

We love our new facility and so grateful to Perimeter for making it possible and for all who have been donating items or coming in to help get us established.

Prayer Requests:

Please pray for the NightLight women: "Tang," "Jeo," "Lad," "Tam," "Tuk," "Won," "Nuy," "Ren," "Gaet," and "Lyn." They are increasingly open and interested to knowing about Christ. Pray that they will take the step of faith and experience His love and transformation.

NightLight is in need of financial support. With the 11th woman coming on Monday, our expenses our increasing rapidly. We don't want to turn anyone away so please pray for support and consider supporting the cost of hiring these women and caring for them.

"Luy" was forced to leave the bar because of her deteriorating health. She will be coming in on Monday to see us. She wants to work with us but the travel will be difficult. She has two children at home as well. Please pray for her and also that the other girls at NightLight will accept her and not be afraid because of her health condition.

"Kho" is still calling and crying about her situation. She wants to leave the bar but her alcohol addiction is making it difficult. Pray for her release from alcohol and from the bars.

Pray for the children who work in the red light district selling flowers, and other items. One mother told us this last week that two of her children disappeared 5 years ago and she is still looking for them but afraid they may have been sold to Malaysia.

Please pray for "Phay", "Wung", "Pook," "Ket", "Kho," "Ging," and "Net" who are working in the bars. Also pray for the Russian-speaking women who have been trafficked.

Please continue to pray for the foundation paperwork to move quickly and for our placement under the appropriate ministry to allow us to do evangelism.

Please remember to pray for the protection of the staff of NightLight and our families: Annie, Beng, Tara, Natalie, Robi, Pon, and Courtney. Beng, Natalie and Robi will be traveling over the holidays.

If you are interested in supporting NightLight this Christmas season, please make a check out to International Ministries, specify for NightLight/Dieselberg and send it to International Ministries, PO Box 851, Valley Forge, PA, USA 19482-0851.

May God bless you abundantly! We appreciate your support and the encouragement that comes from knowing you are praying for the women and children and for the NightLight team as we minister.
