Praise God
- We now have 20 women in our program at NightLight! "Wan," "Nan," "Wondi," and "Ame," have joined us since last month.*
- We had a beautiful foot washing service with the women. They cried as their leaders knelt before them and washed their feet. One of them said, "No one has done anything like this for me my entire life." Two days later they blessed us with water and rose petals according to their tradition. It was precious to see their hearts both receive and give in love.
- We continue to praise God for His provision. God is good!
- One of our women who had been in prostitution for 10 years said, "I love working at NightLight. I don't like weekends because I miss coming to work."
Prayer requests
- "Nin" who passed out on the street last month, returned to prostitution. Pray she will understand God's grace and long for His unconditional love.
- Pray to break the bondage of spirit worship. Their faith in Christ is growing but many are still holding on to their amulets and idols.
- The women will be traveling over the Thai New Year. Pray for their safety and that they will be able to witness of their growing faith in Christ.
- Pray for "Ren's" son who is rebellious and abusive.
- Our facility is at capacity. Our goal of hiring 20 women by the end of the year has already been met.
- There are many more women desiring to come if we can receive them. Pray for outpouring of resources so that we may continue to receive women who seek alternatives to prostitution. The cost of hiring the women is now close to $4000 a month. We can continue to receive the women if the Body of Christ commits to providing the resources needed.
- Pray for wisdom in making decisions about registering as a foundation and/or business and the 501c3 paperwork.
