Dear Friends:
This email comes from the Fox family as we went to the south of Thailand for the building of a Habitat house with six Akha men from Chiang Rai. This was sponsored by American Baptists who provided the costs of travel and living expenses for one week, from the end of Nov. to Dec. 5. What a great building experience it was, both physically and spiritually. We all experienced the struggle
of those who are trying to put their lives back together after the tsunami wave of Dec. 26 , 2005.
Chuck and Ruth Fox
We arrive at our destination for some hard work.

Those are 50 kilos a piece --over 100 lbs.

We helped with the septic system

the floor of the house has to be dug out for the cement to come in....

A three room house, a bathroom and tile roof! Praise the Lord!

We brought our family and two other volunteers.

This lady will get a new kitchen

and a new bathroom.

We ate together -- good food from the south of Thailand.

This is our group, in front of an almost completed house.
Thank you American Baptists for helping.
