Well, this is my very first blog on this website, which makes my topic extraordinarily appropriate.  Our dilemma here at IM is how can we get the news out to folks in a timely manner... and give you immediate insight into how world events affect IM ministries. I am not talking about features that can be read anytime, but breaking world events that IM missionaries are in the midst of.  It's happening frequently, a bombing in India, unrest in Thailand... these important regional events impact our ministries, and you need to hear about them.  The swine flu is a good example.  We have missionary families in Mexico -- the Barnes, Longs, Mayol's, the Reeds, Schellinger-Gutierrez and Shawvers. Our followers can get insight into the effects of this new strain of flu and its impact on the ministries.  So, stay tuned, I'll find out more and pass the news along.  Together in Christ ...
