Mission Project Assembly

Friday 3:00 – 7:00pm
Saturday Noon – 4:00pm

Every World Mission Conference has an opportunity for you to try your hand at in interactive mission experience.  At the Biennial, it’s the Mission Project area where you can assemble a school kit, a personal hygiene kit, or a baby care kit.

Thanks to generous donations from World Relief, American Baptist Women’s Ministries groups and various individuals, the Mission Project area will be supplied with stacks of materials just waiting to be assembled into their respective kits.

You can grab a canvas school bag and fill it with the supplies every child needs – paper, pencils, eraser, pencil sharpener, a ruler, scissors and crayons.  Value: $13

Or just lay open a hand towel and fill it with a washcloth, a comb, nail clippers, a bar of soap, a toothbrush and some Band aids.  Roll it up, tie it with some string and voila!  You have a hygiene kit all done.  Value: $11

Fill a receiving blanket with cloth diapers and diaper pins, little undershirts and a baby gown, some washcloths and a sweater to create a baby care kit for a new mother.   Value: $39

The Goal: during the Biennial, we hope that mission minded individuals like you will help create 200 school kits, 400 hygiene kits, and 200 baby care kits.  The finished kits will be boxed up and shipped to people in need around the world in places like Bosnia, Haiti, Indonesia, Pakistan, Ethiopia, Nicaragua, Syria, and Zimbabwe.

Come be the hands and feet of Christ at the Mission Project.  Here’s how to help:
