Learning Experiences
Friday, June 26 3:00 – 4:15pm
Saturday, June 27 8:30 – 9:45am
Workshops are an important part of any World Mission Conference and International Ministries is pleased to be offering six topics at the Biennial.
Workshops are an excellent way for you to dive deeper into an issue or a ministry.
Just like at a World Mission Conference, each topic is designed to provide you with practical information that you can share with others back home. They’re not lecture style, but interactive and engaging.
Lead by the missionaries and a couple of staff, many of whom are experts in their ministries, these workshops will expose you to a wide range of issues in today’s world. Whether you know a lot about mission or are just getting started, we know you’ll be challenged, engaged and encouraged!
Friday’s topics:
Cross-Cultural Equipping of Leaders
How do we meet the needs of theological education, church development, leadership recruitment and training, in cultures that are very different from our own? Find out how your missionaries are developing relationships with churches and individuals to help them come to Christ, grow in Christ and change the world with Christ.
Led by Mercy and Rick Barnes, missionaries in Mexico – Baja North
Hands-On Discipleship Through Economic Development

Radical Engagement in Global and National Mission

Radical discipleship means we are the hands and feet of Christ in the world. Learn from first hand experiences of “radical engagement” with life that challenges us to hands-on discipleship.
Led by Angela Sudermann, Coordinator of Volunteers in Global Mission and Vickie Goff from National Ministries
