Lauran Bethell receives honorary doctorate

It was awesome to be present at Enon Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pa for the Palmer Seminary commencement exercises on Saturday and see Lauran Bethell, IM global consultant, receive an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters. I watched from the pressbox and was able to post to my Facebook page during the ceremony. I received immediate feedback from a few of our staff who are in other parts of the country. All asked me to wish Lauran the best. Lauran's commencement address advised the graduates to let God enter their lives and let His spark light their paths. She referred to a lecture by Elizabeth Gilbert, best-selling author of Eat, Pray. Love, that spoke of us as empty vessels in which the divine light enters and is able to change the world.
