Lea Lindero
The Kwai River Christian Hospital (KRCH) is located in rural Thailand near the Burma (Myanmar) border. It has 25 beds and employs two doctors and seven nurses. The population of the 10 villages primarily served by the hospital is mostly farmers or small shopkeepers. The hospital also serves as a referral center for several nearby refugee camps, which are supported by such organizations as the Burma Border Consortium, the American Refugee Committee and Doctors Without Borders.
Lea comments, “I am living the kind of life I desired as a child; helping to serve the needs and interests of other people especially the patient.” As the head nurse at KRCH, Lea schedules all the staff in addition to working with outpatients and in the emergency room.
- Pray for Lea as she serves Christ by serving the many needy people who go to the Kwai River Christian Hospital for help of all kinds.
