The Martins are helping to pioneer a new approach among the
Buddhist people who are the majority in Thailand. They have chosen to
live in a rural district in Northern Thailand
with no church presence, building relationships as they participate fully in community
life.
The Martins ministry work is in evangelism and discipleship, leadership training, working with people with disabilities, working with the poor, teaching in schools and helping their neighbors in the agricultural cycle and village projects. They work and pray that their witness to Jesus will be used of God to establish an indigenous church in which Thais feel at home and that they can be leaders and communicators in their own style.
Languages used in ministry: Thai and Northern Thai
