Dear Partners in the Gospel,

Another month has past and we are grateful for God's many blessings and for your partnership in the task set before us.

Last month we asked you to pray for Umphai and Niam in the Payameng Rai church - they and another Christian family have been kicked out of the community funeral fund and ostracized by village leaders for their commitment to Jesus. We visited the church a couple of weeks ago and were surprised to find not only the 2 original families in worship but another lady from their area as well.None of them seem to be overly perturbed by the situation saying that God's grace is sufficient for them – we Praise Him for His faithfulness.

Saturday evenings now see us traveling to Ban Sra to share with Muana and Villy and some new believers in their village. It is exciting to be part of the teaching and discipling of new believers and we are doing some chronological story telling with them.Just last night I found out that they are also meeting on their own to review the stories and worship God.

What's MI - Mission impossible? No it's some kind of Myocardial Infraction. What's that?A heart attack (I think). Our area has been visited by a team from WHO looking at health information systems. The last couple of days of February saw us helping with material preparation and extending our own English vocabulary in the medical realm. Then for the actual day being translators. It was a good time to spend with the public health people in relationship building and we feel happy that the community sees us as a Fran and Hannahresource they can tap for such events.

Schools will be closing down by the end of this month and we will have stopped teaching giving us more opportunities to visit and spend time with neighbors.Hannah and Fran have been excellent in the teaching department and have covered for us a few times when we have had other commitments. We will miss them when they leave in the middle of the month.

Prayer points

With Love in Christ,

Jan and Larry
