Yesterday night in the middle of a tremendous pressure from the Indian social movements in Bolivia, the possibilities for a new beginning can be seen in the horizon.
The Congress finally accepted mesas' resignation to the presidency of Bolivia.Mr. Vaca Diez the president of the Congress was mandated by the Constitution to be the next person into the presidency but he declined under a tremendous amount of pressure tending to violence from the part of the Indian social movements in Sucre the Capital City of Bolivia where congress was meeting.
The next person in line was the president of the Electoral Court Eduardo
Rodriguez from Cochabamba, who was elected the successor to Bolivian Presidency last night.
This election by the congress opens up the possibilities to new elections and to re-negotiations on the hydrocarbon products, the constitution and a better representation of Bolivian poor and oppressed.
Our prayers have been answered, the fragile equilibrium in which Bolivia lives everyday was not broken and still is preserved. Let us pray now for a better Bolivia that could be perceived in the horizon.
It is a good life because of Jesus!
