Ah, the saga continues. But in complete obscurity, complete silence from the players in Kinshasa. We can only pray that the Lord shapes the negotiations
according to His priorities.
Here at Lusekele, last year's seedlings have graduated to plantation palms. The last palms were planted today -- over 800 altogether. The project gave school fee money to dozens of kids who helped with the planting and sets Lusekele up to start producing oil in three or four years. The plantation planted two years ago looks great. We're still waiting for reports from cooperating farmers.
Timothee Kabila, Lusekele's director, is traveling for three weeks to West Africa, teaching groups about holistic development and Christian faith. The Lusekele staff is holding down the fort.
Thanks for praying along with us.
