Primarily responsible to lead the congregation's weekly worship service. Other duties include administration, supervising the church office staff, maintaining good relations with the five U.S. communions sponsoring the Chaplaincy (known as the New York Committee) and with the U.S. Embassy in Moscow; and giving guidance to the Church Council in the management of the church's business/financial affairs.
