Using Their Gifts for His Glory

These last three months have been a very busy time in my missionary work in El Salvador.

I have been asked—and agreed—to be the interim director of the Baptist 2005 Graduating ClassSeminary of Latin America (SEBLA). We celebrated the election of the new board of our institution and celebrated on December 3rd the graduation of 30 students of Diplomat of Bible and Pastoral training. At that time the seminary received a gift of a new computer that was sent by the Minonk Baptist Church of Illinois.

We had the honor of receiving part of the 20 persons that came from 8 churches in Illinois during the week of November 25th to December 4, 2005. The particular duties of that group were to divide into two groups for building two houses; one in Cojutepeque and the other in Lolotique. The group from Lolotique used their gifts in helping with the drawing and painting of different parts of the school at Jucuapa. The other group helped with the Vacation Bible School at Lolotique. The rest of the group helped in the construction of the house. Their gifts were an amazingly great blessing for the people where they worked.

I am on my vacation time in Puerto Rico but sharing with friends and people the work in El Salvador.

Have a blessed Christmas,
