Greetings in the name of the Lord. I have been following the news from Haiti. My people are providing pastoral accompaniment to the Haitian students in Santiago de Cuba. More than 100 of them go to my church. This evening we will have a special worship service to offer them consolation and encouragement. Many have lost family members and some of them entire families. If the American Baptist Churches undertakes a project to help, I am more than willing to cooperate.
