Clean Water for Batey La Javilla

February 1, 2010 Journal Tweet

Maybe for you opening the water faucet every morning and brush your teeth is something common, opening the water to take shower, cook, washer machine, or simply drink a glass of water is easy and is there everyday. But our friends of Batey La Javilla in Yaguate, Dominican Republic do not have this blessing that you have. They have to go very far with a bucket or galon to find water for their basic needs.

This past Saturday we try to help a little with this. Thanks to the Sanabria Family of Puerto Rico and First Baptist Church of St. Albans, West Virginia, we distributed filters, buckets and 5 galons of water. These filters from Aqua Pure will help them with cleaner water to drink and cook.

We thank God for people like the Sanabria Family and St. Albans, WV that made this possible. if you want to help communities like this, please contact us and lets give clean water to the people.
