Since last Thursday, the people of Bluefields and surrounding communities have lived with a lot of tension waiting for Hurricane Beta; but, it never came as powerful as people have experienced in the past with Hurricane Joanne-- PRAISE THE LORD!

The church was going to be used as one of the refuge centres; therefore, we had to stay alert during the weekend.The most difficult day was on Sunday morning because Beta was very close to Bluefields; but we only received very little rain, not even the kind of rain that we are used to in Bluefields.On Sunday afternoon, the sky had a beautiful rainbow, which showed us that the Lord will not destroy Nicaragua with a hurricane.We believe that the Lord has spared Nicaragua from that Hurricane.Even in the news, people are giving testimonies of how the Lord has spared our lives and belongings.In the North side of the Atlantic Coast and other part of Nicaragua was not affected as were expected.Thank you so much for your prayers
