Eileen Herrera and her husband Fidel live in La Paz and attend the English Worship Service at our home each week.Retired school teachers, they moved to La Paz for health reasons.Fidel teaches English in one of the local universities.



Eileen is very involved in a ministry in the local Orphanage.Two afternoons a week she goes and provides arts & crafts as well as English classes to over 80 children.Boys are one day and girls another.Fluent in Spanish, Eileen shines in her new environment.Those of us who volunteer with her are amazed at her ceaseless energy and patience.She is truly the hands of Christ, bringing the heart of the Gospel to life for these children.
