Dwight  Bolick, IM missionary in Chile, just talked with Daniel Vivanco, the Director of the Los Lagos District in our partner convention, the National Baptist Convention of Chile.  He said phone and internet services are cut in the 8th and 9th regions.  The 8th region is where the epicenter was.  He said reports indicate that perhaps 80% of homes are damaged in that region.  Possibly, Concepcion and regional cities are sustaining more damages.  Once phone and internet services are restored we will have more accurate reports.
