Here is a story from Kaleb and Stacey Eldridge, Vinton Baptist Church, Ohio,  regarding their most recent mission experience in Haiti:

My wife and I had the privilege of serving with the people of Grand Goave after the Haiti earthquake of January 2010.  This was my second trip to Haiti and it was radically different from the first.

We served with the Baptist church in Grand Goave.  We were amazed at one thing in particular . . . the leadership of the church.  These young men outworked all of us every day in 100 degree Fahrenheit heat.  Their hearts were with the Lord and the people.  Each swing of the pick and shovel in the earth was a testimony to their love for Christ.  If we could learn to serve with their zeal, the world would never be the same.

The work was hard and the accommodations were nothing like the Hilton, but we were beyond blessed to serve with them.  We hope to return to love in this country..
