Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

It has been several months since I have written to you via the Internet. We give thanks to God because the work here has been going along well in the time of our Lord.

I was in Puerto Rico for seven days for the celebration of Mother's Day. I ask that you pray for my Mother, my Father, and my sister, since they are not well. Being here in Panama does not keep me from thinking and worrying about them. The same God that is with me will be with them. Praised be His name.

Upon my return to Panama, we started a new course at the Theological Center of the Caribbean here in Changuinola. The course was entitled Introduction to the Bible and we had 13 students. Nine of them are new and four had already been studying with us. We have representatives from the following denominations: Baptists, Assembly of God, Quadrangulars, Independents, and the Biblical Church. I ask that you pray for them since all new beginnings require adjustments and they are making a great effort.

A group from Alameda Baptist Church in California and Eastern Baptist Seminary has been visiting with us. They came with Rev. Clark Flesher, their pastor, and Dr. LeAnn Flesher, professor of the Seminary. They were visiting the indigenous community of Bella Vista. The experience was special for them as well as for the community.

I ask that you continue to pray for our work and that God will continue to show his plans here and that we may have the spiritual wisdom to discern and carry them out. Also, I encourage you to continue supporting us with your missionary offerings. Without them, the International Ministries mission work would have to stop. Some of you know that I have a dog, which is a boxer, named Burka. I ask your prayers for her health since she is suffering from a skin problem.

In Christ, model and figure for my life:
