Praise:
* We now have 61 women employed and 8 more waiting for us to respond to them. We praise God for His love and faithfulness to the broken.
* After being in the hospital in serious condition, "Ying" accepted Christ and is now recuperating at NightLight. We've been praying for her for a couple years and are so grateful that she is now with us.
* The pregnant woman (March news), safely delivered her beautiful baby girl on Easter Sunday. We nearly lost the baby a week ago when some women attempted to buy the baby from the mother for $200. When our staff found out they quickly contacted a lawyer for advice and were able to track the baby down and get her back safely. It was truly a miracle and the baby is now safe with the family who will adopt her with the mother's blessing.
* Internet sales and jewelry sales in the US are increasing and we praise God for His provision.
* NightLight is registered as a 501c3 in the US in California. Charity Marquis is overseeing this in LA. We praise God for the networking, fundraising, and ministry that has begun in LA.
* We praise God for the people who have come alongside to help NightLight in recent months. We pray God's blessings for them as they adjust to life back home.
Prayer:
* Please pray for a larger facility to accommodate the growing number of women coming to NightLight. Along with that pray for a continual increase of sales and financial provision.
* Pray for "Ying's" health. She's still bed-ridden and is finding it difficult to eat and fight off infections.
* Pray for favor with officials in the adoption process for the baby.
* Pray for the staff who are confronted with crisis on a day to day basis while trying to run a business at the same time. Pray for wisdom and strength.
* I, (Annie) just returned from a trip to California where I was greatly encouraged by the passion and interest in the fight against prostitution and trafficking. The church is awakening to the call to join in the fight. We have come to realize how important it is for everyone to work together. No one entity can do it alone and we are so thankful for all of you who support through action, financial support and prayer support.
