Dear Friends,

This is Roberta's sister, Pat. Just a quick email asking that you send up some prayers for Roberta. She's praying it will all fit in her suitcase! You should see what a mess she's in. She's down to the last wire and getting ready to leave to return to Japan in the next 24 hours. You'd think she'd never done this before!

Future RobertasTidbits will come from my email which is tornveil@comcast.net. I thought I'd let you know this so that when you see this strange email address come to your mailbox you won't think it's spam. (By the way, the "tornveil" refers to the curtain that was torn in the temple when Jesus died on the cross for our sins, thus making it possible to approach the Throne of Grace without an intermediary.)
