¡¡Hola!!  Hello from Nicaragua!  It is Thursday night, November 4th.  I had a great time in Bible study this evening with folks at First Baptist Church of Managua Nicaragua.  It was the second Bible study session of the day for me today.            

I spent the morning in La Concepción (same name as the volcano in the picture, but a different place), doing a Bible study workshop for CEPAD, the Council of Protestant Churches of Nicaragua.  For a 2-minute glimpse of the place and the people, follow this link to a video I just posted on YouTube:  Serving with CEPAD.

The pastors and congregational leaders present this morning are one of the newest in CEPAD's national network of local leadership committees.  They invited me to come do a Bible study with them that would help them focus on unity in leadership.  It was a joy to work with them as they plunged into the discussion of the Bible and of their challenges.

The national leadership of CEPAD and the pastors and leaders in and around La Concepción, join me in thanking you for the prayer and financial support that makes it possible for me to serve them.
