“Celebrate Volunteers!” is the theme for the 2011 International Ministries (IM) breakfast at the Biennial in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  The program on Saturday, June 25th will feature Kihomi Nzunga – missionary in Haiti, Deb Mulneix – missionary in India, and Gary Baits – missionary in Costa Rica.

Attendees will enjoy at a typical Puerto Rican meal at the 7:00am breakfast and hear how volunteers make a difference in the ministries of each missionary.  The program will include representatives from volunteer mission teams that have worked alongside these missionaries in Haiti, India and Costa Rica.

Angela Sudermann, Coordinator of Volunteers for IM, and her team, help thousands of individuals and church groups every year to go on mission trips around the world.  “We don’t often get the chance to say thank you in person to the volunteers who give so selflessly of their time, talent and resources," said Sudermann.  "The Biennial brings everyone together, so we can share terrific stories from volunteers and express our gratitude face to face.”

Tickets for the IM breakfast are $16 and may be purchased on the Biennial registration page.  Click here to buy your ticket today.

In the past, IM has sponsored a Biennial luncheon and people have asked about the transition to hosting a breakfast.  This year there is no Sunday luncheon on the Biennial schedule.  Instead, attendees will worship in area churches Sunday morning, followed by a reception or lunch before returning to the San Juan Convention Center that afternoon.
