Assist with Praise and Worship times and lead workshops for Vacation Bible School in Dimapur, Nagaland

Christian Higher Secondary School has been organizing the Summer Bible School (SBS) in collaboration with Town Baptist Church, Dimapur since 1994, and 2013 SBS will be the 21st edition.

The program is usually attended by students from 50 plus schools/churches and they receive volunteers/teachers from 20 plus churches in & around Dimapur. In 2010, there were 500 plus students as well as 80 plus teachers/volunteers. The program  5 days duration (28 June-2 July). The students are divided into 5 broad sections:-
Beginners -6-7 yrs
Primary-8-9 yrs
Juniors-10-11 yrs
Intermediate-12-13 yrs
Seniors-14 yrs and above

These sections are further divided into a total of 20 plus classes of about 25-30 students per class, depending on the number of enrolled students. The first 4 days include daily Praise & Worship, 2 sessions of teaching the Word of God, an activity period (Bible Quiz/games etc), and a workshop period, where students of the different sections are taught songs, dance, choreography, skits, drama or creative arts (making greeting cards, decorative artifacts etc) which they perform and display on the final day to an audience of parents, relatives and well-wishers.

Specific responsibilities would be to help with Praise & Worship (30 mins/day) as well as the workshops (40 mins/day).

Costs for room/board during the Summer Bible School would be about $35/day.
