Dear friends:
* I am back in the US for my home assignment, and could use prayer for many aspects during this time. Please pray for Noon and me as we travel to speak in different churches. Please pray for safety as we travel. Pray that Noon has an increasing understanding of and ability to speak English and a confidence as she shares her testimony. Please pray that we have God’s wisdom as we prepare workshops and presentations. Pray that we know what to share with the churches and how to share it so that congregations here in the USA will be encouraged in their ministry in their neighborhoods and around the world.

* Please pray for Khun Amnuayporn as she shoulders the responsibilities in the IMEM office during my home assignment. Please pray she will find God’s strength and wisdom sufficient in new and deep ways.
* Thank you for praying for Daw Song. The doctor has some new insights regarding her medications, and this past month, she has not lost any more weight (a good sign!). Please pray she can regain strength and health so that she can return to school after the October break.
* The day care center doesn’t close for October break, but because older siblings are home from their schools, the little ones stay home too. It makes consistent teaching difficult. Please pray for the day care teachers that they can make each day meaningful.
* It is October break for the children at the House of Love—everyone is looking forward to the three-week break. Please be praying for the house parents as they organize and balance fun activities and work for the children. For the teenagers, they want to work to make money, and it isn’t always easy to find jobs for them.
* Please keep praying for the HPTP teams as they run the Bible camp Oct 16-18. The children from the House of Love will attend, and for the first time, we will be bringing all of the AIDS orphans that we support in different villages together.
