Hope
Unlimited, a ministry to street children led by Philip and Corenne
Smith, will soon be featured on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams. On
Friday evenings the program includes a series entitled “Making a
Difference.” Details on the air date for the Hope Unlimited segment are
not known at this time, but the Smiths believe it will likely happen in
the next couple of weeks. When they get a firm date, they will post it
on the Hope Unlimited website. Once the program has aired it will be available for viewing on the “Making a Difference” section of the NBC website.
An
NBC film crew visited the Smiths at the end of November, 2006, and was
struck by the depth of transformation experienced by the Brazilian
street kids that Hope Unlimited serves. Phil Smith co-founded Hope
Unlimited in 1991 and currently serves as its president. Phil and
Corenne Smith are missionaries of International Ministries.
