Twenty-three days have been enough to fill my heart with images of the beautiful faces of those in Stillman and Judson Associations and in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and in many spots in Ohio and Vermont who are partners with us in missions.  How lovely are your faces among the multi-colored leaves of Fall!

We American Baptists are as multi-colored as the colors of New England in the fall, and we serve people of all colors, shapes, and sizes around the world!   One of the blessings of being your missionary is that I get to meet so many of you.  I hope my time in the US has helped many more to get to know the African immigrants Jim and I serve in Italy.

Thanks to Stillman Association who brought me to the Boston area, to First Baptist of Alliance, Ohio, who brought me to Ohio, and to First Baptist Church-Burlington, Vermont, who got me to Vermont!  Thanks to all of you who made it possible then to get me to your neighborhood!

We will be back as a family next summer, so keep us in mind for a summer visit to your church!

If you've not yet given to the World Mission Offering, do it now!  You can direct your offering to the support of the mission work of us our other International Ministries colleagues.  When people do that more than one year, we can count that gift as a consistent gift.  We are currently 68.1% of our mission support goal.

May the beauty of fall colors remind you of the beauty of all God's people!
