Last week U.S. and Puerto Rico churches received the new World Mission Offering (WMO) DVD from American Baptist International Ministries (IM). The DVD features six videos which include an inspirational story about Mike and Becky Mann’s water project in northern Thailand called Joy in Mah Oh Jo. (5:15 min.)

A second video called My Hope and Joy Have Come Back is a heartfelt story told by Becky Mann of a woman living in Mah Oh Jo who is finding a new life after the death of her husband. (2:20 min.)

“These stories are powerful examples of how IM hears and responds to God’s call to embody the gospel in word and action,” comments Stan Slade, IM associate executive director for Program.

The DVD also contains four inspiring messages on the themes of Call and Commitment by Ken Fong, senior pastor of Evergreen Baptist Church of Los Angeles.  Originally presented at IM’s May 2012 World Mission Conference and Call Retreat, these messages captivated and inspired the 400 in attendance. They have been reproduced on the DVD to share with a wider church audience.

A booklet containing Study Guides for the six videos is included in the package.

The videos and Study Guides, as well as the WMO resources, are available at http://www.internationalministries.org/drives/7.  To receive the DVD and Bible studies through postal mail, call 1-800-4JUDSON.

Gifts to the World Mission Offering provide IM’s largest single source of revenue undergirding its total global mission. Churches receive new WMO materials every summer to enrich worship and enhance educational experiences that build church understanding and participation in global mission. WMO enables congregations to be part of the entire spectrum of IM’s mission.
