M. Cecilia Broadous’s Profile

M. Cecilia says God's call for her is to "live out Acts 1:8", and when it is time, leave her Jerusalem and Judea and go to Samaria and other parts of the world. M. Cecilia's other part of the world at this time is South Africa, where she teaches at the Baptist Convention College.

She works with leaders of the Baptist Convention of South Africa particularly with the Baptist Women's Department. She, along with South African women, is continuing to develop a "women empowerment program" focusing in particular on women in ordained ministry, including female students, and pastor's wives.

Working with the BWD, the project "Indawo Yakho--Support Centre for Women & Children" has been developed to minister to women and children who have suffered any type of abuse & also do counseling and education in the area of HIV/AIDs.
