Christmas smiles—as you can imagine, December brings lots of smiles to the children we are involved with.We hope you can take a minute to rejoice with us,
as well as, to pray for some important items. We do want to wish each of you a blessed Christmas, and thank you for your partnering with the Health Project in 2005.
Praise and Prayer
I have returned after having some time in the US with my family following my father's death. It was difficult to leave family, but felt good to be back with my friends and the children I work with in Thailand.
- Please be praying for refreshment to my spirit, even in the midst of the many demands of life here.
How good it is to live in a country where we can openly celebrate the birth of our Savior! We will have a special party for the House of Blessing daycare children
and their families on Dec. 16.
- Please be praying for the HPTP and daycare staff as they reach out to the families during this celebration.
For the past few years, our Youth Center staff has gone into the Chiang Mai Juvenile Detention Center and held a Christmas party for some of the youth there. This year, from Dec. 19-23, we have also been invited to come and hold a spiritual emphasis week for 15 of the Christian tribal youth who will be completing their detention time and leaving the center on Dec. 26th.
- We are grateful for this opportunity, and ask that you pray that this would be a significant time of renewal for the youth that will be attending.May God be glorified in each of these young lives!
The Health Project office will close between Christmas and New Year's.Please
pray for good family times for all of the tribal staff as they enjoy this extended break.
