Summer holiday time for the school children here in Thailand, and the whole House of Love family went to the beach, accompanied by the Health Project staff.The trip was a great success—we hope you enjoy our trip photos!Every evening during the worship time, almost every child gave thanks to God for opportunity to be at the beach—some had never seen the sea before.With the remaining weeks of school break, the children will be doing special language studies in their respective tribal languages.We appreciate the help that the tribal pastors in Chiang Mai give to the children!

Praise:

• Praise God for a safe and very memorable beach vacation for the children at the House of Love (HOL).
• IMEM has been strengthening its relationship with Grace International School--what a joy this is for all concerned!The children from the House of Blessing (HOB) daycare enjoyed an Easter program put on by the 5th graders, including cookie decorating and an egg hunt—and a student play about the Easter story.Then later in the week, the senior class took all the HOB kids to a park and did an all-day program for them.The HOL children were guests of the freshman Grace students, and spent the day at a waterfall together.
• The Health Project for Tribal People (HPTP) has finished the evaluation, and the writing is in the final stages.We are thankful for the process and what we have learned from it.

Prayer:

• We would appreciate prayer for Duay Duay, who is not able to tolerate his HIV drug treatment at this time.One of the key blood counts is now zero and he is losing weight, which are not good signs.The project nurse, Pi Noon, will be taking Duay to see a specialist to see if there is another combination of drugs that might help at this time.Please pray for wisdom and insights for the doctor, and pray for Duay to be encouraged.
• One of the housemothers at the HOL has left.Please pray for us as we look to replace her, and also pray for the children—these kinds of changes always affect them.
• Please pray for wisdom as we seek a creative solution for how to use the donation for land (for the HOL building project) in a way that can honor the wishes of the donor.Please also be praying for us as we begin working with an architect to make a building that would fit our many needs.Please continue praying for the funds needed to build.
• Please be praying for daycare staff as they work to ready the new building before the new school year starts in May.
• Please also pray for HPTP staff as they incorporate the tribal youth ministry with their other duties.
