Rev. Tom Lipsey has been the Senior Pastor of Montgomery Community Baptist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio since 1994. Since joining Montgomery their membership has grown to more than 1500 people. In addition to leading his congregation Tom has also taught various groups outside of Montgomery in seminars focusing on church change, renewal and growth. Prior to joining Montgomery he served in pastoral positions at churches in Tennessee, Massachusetts and New Jersey. He received his Doctor of Ministry from Gordon-Conwell Seminary.

Tom spent his boyhood in Memphis, Tennessee, and came to know the Lord at age 14. Tom and Joni, his wife, have been married for 20 years. They have three sons, Jonathan, Caleb and James. The Lipseys enjoy spending time together in sports, fun, teaching and training.
