Karen and Mark Hite Biography

Karen pursued degrees in Biology and Physical Therapy, but spent much of her spare time in college in the music department. When their children were young, Karen was fortunate to be able to stay at home with them. Shortly after the birth of her first child 14 years ago, she had an opportunity to maintain some adult sanity and took on a part-time music position at her home church of Royersford Baptist. For the past 7 years, Karen has helped to plan and organize the music for two weekly worship services – one a traditional blend, and one contemporary.

Mark has two degrees in music, and sells insurance for a living.Whatever you read into that is probably correct.He also has the odd quirk of liking to hear the sermon twice, so he sings in his church choir for one service and serves on the worship team for the other.A glutton for music and worship, he also sings in an Episcopal men’s and boys’ choir.Mark is a veteran of three short-term mission trips, the first of which has shaped his spiritual journey for the past 23 years.
