Dear Family and Friends,

One of the nice things about this time of the year is that we have graduation programs for students who completed their studies earlier this year. (Unlike in the States, there is a delay between the end of school and graduation of almost 7 months.)

We had a total of 29 students to graduate from McGilvary this year; 4 M.Div., 9 McGilvery 2006 Graduating ClassB.Th., and 16 B.A. students. Most of our work with these students was with those who graduated with the B.A in Christian Studies. Of those 16, 15 are currently involved in full time Christian ministry. Three of them are actually serving as pastors. We are very proud of all of them.

One of the pictures is of the whole graduating class and our faculty.

JindaThe other is of Jinda. Jinda is teaching Christian Education at a Baptist Bible School in a suburb of Chiang Mai.

Another nice thing about this time of year is that many Christians and churches in the States turn their attention to missions. Because of Thanksgiving and Christmas we are reminded of God's many blessings to us and our wonderful responsibility to bring the Good News of Christ to the world.

If you would like to make a financial contribution to the work in Thailand, you may send a check to American Baptist International Ministries, PO Box 851, Valley Forge, PA 19482-9896. Enclose a note that indicates your contribution is "For the support of LaMon and Pat Brown in Thailand." Once your tax-deductible gift has been processed, you will receive a receipt in the mail.

However, whether you make that contribution or not, please pray for these 16 students.

Yours in Christ,

LaMon and Pat
