It’s Saturday afternoon from 3:30 – 5:00pm following the mid-afternoon coffee break.
WHERE is Mission in Motion?
Depending on the option you choose, it might be inside or outside!You might be a in a parlor or in a gym.You might be in a classroom or in the parking lot.
WHY do Mission in Motion?
Shake off that mid-afternoon lethargy as you build relationships with missionaries, conference leaders and other attendees.
HOW do you do Mission in Motion?
Well it depends on the option you select.It might mean using your hands, or your
tongue, or your mind.It might mean using just your feet or your whole body.

Four Cultures Game
Think you know the “right” way to behave?This simple game is thought provoking,
engaging and hilarious fun for all ages.You’ll learn to appreciate the unique qualities of other cultures and re-evaluate your own assumptions about right and wrong.
Bamboo Dance
Can you clap your hands? Can you keep a rhythm? Then YOU can take part in this fun and lively cross-cultural experience! Follow the Karen people from Burma and Thailand as they demonstrate how to step between bamboo poles that are laid in a lattice on the floor. The poles tap together in a slow rhythm as you step between them and move across the floor. You can try your hand at tapping the poles together, or try your feet as you step over and between the bamboo poles to the rhythm of the dance. It's beautiful, it’s fun, it’s mission in motion!!
Multi-tasking Congolese Style
Step into the shoes of a Congolese woman as you try to juggle the demands of daily life. Open to MEN and women, this inventive and gentle team competition will answer the question of who is better at multi-tasking, women or men. Learn a traditional Congolese greeting, ask questions and encounter the realities of life in another culture.
STEP Walk (2.5 miles)
STEP stands for Student Tuition Expense Program.Conference attendees are the single biggest source of income for this vital program.$25 will provide food, clothing, books and school supplies to a child for a MONTH!!STEP funds are given out by your missionaries to children and youth in fourteen countries!
In Arizona, you can participate TWO ways.You can walk the 4 kilometers
(2.5 miles) or you can ride them in your golf cart!For the first time, we are inviting owners of golf carts to decorate their rigs and make it a STEP Parade!Prizes given for the best use of international decorations on a golf cart!
Held rain or shine, STEP participants have an hour and half to follow a well mapped out route that will begin and end at BellevueHeightsChurch. After you register to attend the conference, you'll receive a pledge form. Use it to ask your friends, family, co-workers or Sunday school class to sponsor you.If you’re a pastor, challenge your congregation to sponsor you!!Whether you ride, skip, jog or walk the route, you’ll be making a difference with every STEP!
