Banjara Development Trust has several programs that serve women and children in Hanamkonda.  If you are interested in working with women or children in India, check this out!

In Education - Help in three schools in different villages, two with less than 50 students each, grades 1-8, one with about 500 students, grades 1-10.  The schools work in conjunction with Compassion International.  Be an encouragement, a tutor, and the hands and feet of Christ to little ones…and older ones.

Mother & Child programs  For moms - Volunteers needed in the areas of education, socialization, nutrition, hygiene, work skills, sewing, computer skills. See anything you can plug into?  For children: The after school program serves 263 children, grades 1-10 and offers tutoring, Bible Study, and an evening meal.  This program also works in conjunction with Compassion International.  If you love children, there is a place for you here!!
