You might not choose to taste her wares, but I can assure you that they smell great!!

If you climb into the green taxi--called a "Tuk-tuk"--no windows (or air conditioning) will get in the way of your experience of the sights, sounds and smells of Bangkok.

You can ride a real elephant in Thailand--or see them at work--but the elephants in this picture are part of a worship center on one of the busiest street corners in downtown Bangkok.

Bangkok is a terrific tourist destination, full of amazing things to see and incredibly gracious people to meet!  But my reason for being in Bangkok this week is not tourism.  It is the Kingdom of God.

As I write, we are approaching the end of an intensive seven day conference that has brought together people from four continents.  We have gathered from many communions and agencies in order to study the Bible and to learn from one another about some amazing new things God is doing.  The testimonies have come especially from work among peoples that in the past have been hesitant to embrace the good news about Jesus.  It has been a great privilege, both to lead a group through the book of Acts and also to be inspired by the acts of the Holy Spirit in our own time.

Thanks for your prayers and gifts that make this ministry possible!
