available now from the "Flowers of Compassion" mission project in Bangkok, Thailand.
"Flowers of Compassion" is a Christian Micro-Enterprise project located in an urban slum in the heart of Bangkok, Thailand. Many of the families of the Charoen Krung community must live off of 75-125 dollars/month. The little work available is often located in factories with very dangerous conditions. As a partnership of Compassion International and the Charoen Krung Maitrichit Baptist
Church, the Flowers of Compassion project began with a mission "to empower the women & families of the Charoen Krung community through equitable and sustainable small business development." The hope is to provide a viable alternative for working mothers in a positive and spiritually uplifting environment.
The quality of the flowers are exceptional. All flowers are hand made from Thai Saa (Mulberry Bush) paper and latex coated for flexibility and durability. Of course, no watering or maintenance is needed. They make a unique gift and their beauty will grace any room. The women who make them take pride in their craft and the marketing of the flowers adds dignity where there was despair.
All proceeds go directly to the women and families of "Flowers of Compassion." Your support and prayers are essential. Thank you for your partnership in serving the poor of Bangkok.
