It is important for pastors to be able to experience how the Church is doing ministry in other places. Beginning in 2011, the Rocky Mountain and Nebraska regions in partnership with International Ministries, have taken four pastors each on a 10-day overseas learning experience. This experience allows pastors to engage other Christian cultures and bring home new ideas for ministry. This year, the group will experience Bolivia with missionaries JD and Rhonda Reed and Mario Morales. Spending four days in Santa Cruz, the team will listen, learn, engage, and teach in a variety of settings from rural to urban. When they arrive in Cochabamba, they will preach in various churches on Sunday and then once again learn, listen, and engage as they visit the ministries of House of Hope and the churches and ministries in and around Cochabamba. Joined each year by Reid Trulson, Executive Director of International Ministries, the experience is one of learning, fellowship, and strengthening relationships with our brothers and sisters around the world, and with each other.
