MIKE has served in the Democratic Republic of the Congo alongside his wife Jill since 1996. For the past 25 years, Mike has been a preacher, pastor and teacher of theology in both Kikongo and Kinshasa. From 2009 to 2020, Mike served as the senior pastor of the International Protestant Church of Kinshasa (IPCK). Under Mike’s leadership, the church was transformed from a small group of expatriate missionaries into a thriving and diverse English speaking congregation that includes Congolese and over 20 other nationalities. The mission of the IPCK is characterized by four words: Worship, Outreach, Service, and Discipleship. Mike is now serving on United States / Puerto Rico assignment as he anticipates retiring from ministry as a global servant on December 31, 2021. As of April 1, 2021, Jill transitioned into a new ministry as IM’s Donor Advisor serving the West Coast of the United States.
