GoalInternational Ministries seeks to raise $21,000 for Symbiosis Bangladesh to have 191 staff members and their families attend a three-day annual leadership development conference as well as monthly seminars for Symbiosis staff.
SummaryInternational Ministries, in partnership with Symbiosis Bangladesh, is investing in leadership development for Symbiosis staff.
DescriptionSymbiosis Bangladesh serves the poorest and most densely populated country in the world. It works to empower marginalized and landless families and individuals by providing literacy training and education. The staff members are all local people who are rooted in their rural communities. They participate in a variety of seminars and develop studies on integrating all of life, from the physical and mental to the spiritual. Seminar topics include leadership development, values training and effective communication. This project will be managed by Dr. Abdur Rahaman, CEO of Symbiosis Bangladesh, and global consultant Walt White. It is anticipated that this project will benefit the rural communities that Symbiosis serves by enabling staff members to become more thoroughly grounded, knowledgeable and able to develop their own leadership gifts.
