Boaz has been engaged in peacebuilding activities for over a decade. He provides conflict transformation training, mediation, and reconciliation among the rural communities throughout eastern Kenya along the border of western Uganda.  

Christina and Lance share, “It is our belief that peace, justice, truth, and mercy are ingredients for sustainable peace building.” They serve with IM as international associate global servants. 

Kit provides direct clinical care for survivors of trauma including sexual abuse, human trafficking, and domestic violence through therapeutic art groups and life-skills workshops. She also promotes spiritual formation through preaching, Bible teaching, and facilitating art and contemplative prayer retreats.

Peter and Sarah’s hope is that, through their ministries, hearts and minds will be changed, and people will grow into the image of Christ. 

Mercy teaches, mentors and walks alongside men and women that are following God’s call in their lives. She works with colleagues and local leaders to provide resources such as retreats and workshops.

Jill and Mike work with the Baptist Community of Congo (CBCO), continuing the efforts that American Baptists began in the Democratic Republic of the Congo more than a century ago.
