DOUBLE YOUR DONATION up to $100,000

MATCHING GIFT OPPORTUNITY to help purchase a building for NightLight and Song Sawang Church in Bangkok, Thailand

International Ministries is excited to announce that, thanks to a generous donor, all gifts to IM for this project up to $100,000 will be DOUBLED between now and December 31, 2018.

Please help with a gift to purchase the building where NightLight in Bangkok provides dignifying employment to Thai women and job training to international women who are affected by sex trafficking or commercial sexual exploitation. This same building where products are made daily will also provide a new location for Song Sawang Church (translated as “Shine the Light).

“What an amazing Christmas gift that will enable Nightlight to continue to minister to countless women who seek dignifying employment, and for the church to provide a way to introduce the families to God’s grace,” says Annie Dieselberg, International Ministries (IM)  missionary. “God works in amazing ways though our donors!”

NightLight International, led by Annie, has been ministering to Thai women who seek to leave commercial sexual exploitation and gain ethical employment. Song Sawang Church is a safe place for women to worship and to bring their friends and families to introduce them to the love of Christ.

With over 14 years of successful ministry in Bangkok, Thailand, NightLight has been paying rent for its current location and is at risk of losing the space. Song Sawang Church ministry has been seeking a new location.

By securing the needed $379,000 in funding through IM, NightLight can purchase the building it currently rents. This building is adjacent to NightLight Design’s permanent location, so jobs could remain without disruption. Furthermore, when remodeled, the two buildings together will have enough square footage on the first floor to accommodate Song Sawang Church. Annie and Jeff are excited to see how God is answering the prayers NightLight has prayed for many years!

Due to the longtime positive relationship the NightLight team has had with the owner of the building, he has offered NightLight the first right of purchase at a significantly reduced price over market value. Property in the heart of Bangkok could sell for significantly more, and it would likely go to a buyer that would further expand the sex trade industry in this area. Annie and Jeff, together with NightLight and Song Sawang Church, ask for help in securing this location for God’s work so that they can continue to shine a light in the darkness.

Jeff and Annie are so grateful for the generous donor for the $100,000 in matched funds. “We are confident that so many of you who have supported us and NightLight through the years will step up before December 31, 2018 to match the grant and to secure this purchase,” said the To have your gift doubled, please respond today.
