Applications for the 2022 Emerging Leaders’ Cohorts are now closed.

The application process will reopen in April 2023. These cohorts are for youth and young adults ranging from 16-to 29 years old and US citizens or legal residents. The cohorts will be divided into 2 main age groups, 16-20 and 21-29, with 12 individuals per cohort.

What will you experience as an Emerging Leader Cohort Member?

These cohorts are designed to walk alongside youth and young adults, supporting their faith journeys and helping each member better discern God’s calling on their lives.

This group of cohorts will kick off their experience with a “Lessons Learned” weekend retreat. The list below is a glimpse of what will take place within these cohorts:

• Membership is for 2 years
• Regular bi-monthly meetings
• Prayer Partners within each cohort
• Theological studies
• IM Missiology
• Relationship building within each cohort
• Roundtable conversations with current and retired global servants
• Gain a better understanding of the local churches’ roles, denominations, regional associations, special assistants, and volunteers.
• Attending local and national conferences
• Participating in cross-cultural short-term mission trips as a cohort and/or individually.

These cohorts are a fantastic opportunity to have a unique experience with your brothers and sisters in Christ. We believe that within each of us is a leader awaiting the opportunity, guidance, and confidence to emerge. Through these cohorts, may your inner leader find the boldness to serve.

Our goal is to have these cohorts be diverse in gender, race, denomination affiliation, creative and spiritual gifts, and more.
